Hundreds of thousands of people across the country had a Tea party Wednesday.  TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already.

Signs and speakers gathered hundreds of people in Montpelier as they spoke up to say that "wasted tax dollars is no cup of tea."

"We've owned a small business for 30 years, and I don't want anyone to bail me out.  Because if I lose it, I lose it on my own," says Lana Commo, a protester at the Montpelier Tea Party.

"We have a huge federal deficit. Our children, My children, are going to be paying for this," Linda Quackenbush, a working mother with three daughters, said.

There were at least five tea party rallies within our area Wednesday.

There were nearly 2,000 gatherings across the country.
