HANOVER, N.H. (AP) - Dartmouth College is starting a new program to allow students who've just received doctorate degrees to earn business degrees on an accelerated schedule.
The agreement between Dartmouth Graduate Studies and the college's Tuck School of Business is designed to produce individuals who are not only thoroughly trained in a scientific discipline but who also possess business and entrepreneurial skills.
Under the program, students will begin work on master's of business administration degrees directly after completing their Ph.D. work. Coursework is expected to be one term less than for students in the regular MBA program.
