An aide to Burlington mayoral candidate Andy Montroll says a random hacker, possibly from Turkey, is responsible for garble and obscenities found on the Democratic candidate's Web site for two days in a row.

Montroll campaign manager Reid DeWolfe says the hacking on Thursday was most likely a function of the fact that the site was found to be vulnerable on Wednesday.  DeWolfe says he's been talking with Montroll's Web site design contractor, who is trying to fix the problem.

Web sites for the other three candidates in the March election - incumbent Mayor Bob Kiss, Republican Kurt Wright and independent Dan Smith - don't appear to have been attacked.
