UPDATE: Police say a wanted man is behind bars tonight. Friday night, police put out a warrant for Michael Kirkman, 33, on two counts of attempted murder.

Police say Kirkman was taken into custody in Ohio and will be extradited to Vermont.

Police say on April 14, Kirkman confronted three men on North Main Street in the City of Barre. Police say he then got into a fight with the men, pulled out a knife, and stabbed them. Dustin Broad, 22, was stabbed twice, and Robert Jackman, 21, was stabbed once.
