Where Did You Grow Up?
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Radio/TV/Film and Writing Arts with a minor in Communication Studies from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.
Where have you worked previously?
I spent two years working as a videojournalist/anchor in the "Cowboy State" at KCWY, News 13 in Casper, Wyoming.
Before KCWY, I worked as a researcher and digital content producer for the Investigative Unit at WCAU, NBC 10 in Philadelphia. I also worked as a local media editor for the station's website, NBCPhiladelphia.com
What was the most challenging story you've ever done?
An exclusive, undercover investigation on the issue of synthetic marijuana, most commonly known as Spice. It was popping up all across Wyoming. I wanted to give viewers an in-depth look at the effects it had in various communities. The story involved setting up and shooting an interview while hiding their identity and consulting with our station's attorney before going undercover at a local convenience store to purchase the product. These were all things I learned how to do while working with the NBC 10 Investigators, but never actually executed on my own.

NBC's "Early Today" show anchor, Lynn Berry.
What are your favorite hobbies?
When I'm not enjoying my favorite pastime of kicking back with the hubby (Brian), two dogs (Lily and Dexter) and cat (Sophie) watching horror or suspense movies, I love setting out on spontaneous road trips, hiking the great outdoors and taking lots of photographs along the way, collecting interesting artifacts, rocks and sea shells, rolling strikes at the bowling alley, singing a tune (or attempting to anyway) at karaoke, hitting a bucket at the driving range, swinging for the fence at the batting cage and waiving as I speed past other drivers on the go-kart course. Extreme rides or attractions peak my curiosity; therefore, I have to try them, in reason of course.
What are your favorite sports teams?
E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!!! And, of course, the Fightin' Phils, also known as the ‘Phillies.'
What is your favorite book?
Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, Night by Eli Wiesel, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
What is your favorite food?
Being that I'm a Philly girl, born and raised, gotta' love those cheesesteaks and soft pretzels! Chicken Alfredo takes third place.
What is one thing you would put on a "bucket list"?
Backpacking through Europe.
