Update: Georgia, Vermont - The Georgia market is set to be demolished this fall.
Wednesday morning it appeared as if work on that project began.
"Unfortunately yes. A little ahead of our schedule," said Georgia Market Owner Ray Bouffard.
But that wasn't the case.
What started out as a quiet morning for employee Brenda Currier, quickly changed.
"Then I heard this big boom and I thought the propane tank was exploding," said Currier.
It wasn't a propane tank, but the crane working on the stores new location crashed into the building.
"We didn't feel the earthquake but we sure felt this," said Currier.
It looks bad on the outside, and Currier says it's not any better inside.
"The coolers are crushed. There's bottles of soda all blown up. The glass is blown out of the coolers," said Currier.
No one was injured.
A fact the owner says can be attributed to the time the accident took place.
"Had this happened at peak lunchtime or peak dinnertime it would probably be a different story," said Bouffard.
The construction workers say that they've been working in that same spot now for a few days however on Wednesday morning they say the problem was the ground was too soft.
"The arm is about 100 feet long. So half of it went through the building," said Georgia Fire Department Assistant Chief Elwin Sweeney.
The owner hopes to get the store open Thursday.
And some employees say there might be a new item on the menu.
"So I guess [Wednesday] there's no lunch. It's too bad we could've had crane burgers," said Currier.
Just remember to hold the destruction when ordering.

Georgia, Vermont – A day on the job turns scary after a crane crashes through the roof of a Shell gas station in Georgia Wednesday morning.
Police say around 8:50 a.m. construction workers were on site when a crane tipped over, crashed into Georgia Market along Ethan Allen Highway and landed on beer and milk coolers.
Police believe the ground under the crane was too soft and gave way, causing the crane to tip over.
Officials say people were inside the store at the time, but no one was hurt.
Georgia Market's owner told Fox 44's Nick Natario the store will be closed for the next couple days.
