Burlington, Vermont – Fire fighters from across the Green Mountain State have been picked to participate in the pregame ceremonies at the Boston Bruins home opener Thursday night.
Fire fighters from Burlington, South Burlington, Hartford, Brattleboro and St. Johnsbury Fire Departments will be a part of the "White Glove Stick Salute Parade".
"It's an absolute honor for our members to represent Vermont at such a historic New England Sporting Event" said Matt Vinci, President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Vermont.
The puck drops against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7 p.m.
