11.24.11 Snow To Be Thankful For!

While some of you are groaning about the recent snow, I KNOW there are a lot more of you that are THANKFUL for it this year! A fresh blast of snow for many of our local area ski resorts is just what we need to kick off the holiday season and the ski season!

Many mountains opened up and are turning chairs after our most recent snowstorm. The resorts that open today (11/24) around our region include Killington, Stowe, Okemo, Sugarbush, Bretton Woods (NH), and Loon Mountain (NH). They want you to gobble up all the snow for this Thanksgiving!

Resorts that plan to open on Friday (11/25) include Whiteface (NY), Cannon (NH), Attitash (NH), and Waterville Valley!

Here are some of the snow totals from the recent storm.

A great day for it too! If you can believe it, while a gray, overcast sky is the current view for most of us, drier air at the higher levels of the atmosphere have the mountain tops actually a lot sunnier!
