
South Burlington, Vermont – Vermont State Police believe arson was committed to
a South Burlington office building Tuesday and are offering a cash reward for
information.
Around 5:30 a.m. firefighters
responded to a first floor fire on Dorset Street. They put the fire out quickly
and prevented it from spreading to other portions of the building.
The structure is being renovated, and no one was inside when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but State Police think it was intentionally
set and consider it suspicious.
The fire caused $12,000 worth of damage, according to fire officials.
