1.27.12 Snow, Ice, and Rain...OH MY!

What a gross winter day, huh? What began as snow last night, gradually mixed with sleet and freezing rain, then eventually just plain old rain. Not exactly what many of us like to call winter around here...

BUT.. it's what we got. So be it.

Here are some of the reports from around the region... a generalization of 1-3" of snow fell for most areas (before it changed to rain...) and a coat of ice made for a very slippery, and in some cases dangerous, Friday morning.

This was just a sample of reports from you, our viewers, and weather spotters around the region. I thank you all for the reports you sent to us. We here at Fox44/ABC22 send in the reports you give to us from your house to the National Weather Service where the reports are then gathered and released out to anyone who would like to see how much snow or ice fell across the region.
