This time last year, the Sky Tracker weather team was forecasting yet another big snowstorm (remember the Groundhog Day blizzard?!). This would add to an already snowy season for our region. At this time last year, the Burlington area had already received over 55" of snow (compared to 24.4" so far this season).

The snow depth on the ground shows significant difference this year to last, as you might have imagined. Check out the snow depth plot today versus January 30, 2011. The depth is given in inches on the legend on the right.
