Plattsburgh, New York- Friday is National Wear Red Day, part of American Heart Associaton's Go Red for Women campaign. In conjuntion with this annual event CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh will be offering free heart screenings.
The screenings, which will happen from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., will take place at the West Side Ballroom, which is located at 253 New York Road.
The goal of the God Red for Women campaign is to raise awareness about women's heart health.
Fox44 & ABC22 is a proud sponsor of the Plattsburgh Go Red for Women Dinner, which begins at 4 p.m. Friday. Fox44 & ABC22 News Anchor Lauren Maloney will be there to emcee the event.
