Hi there everyone! Thanks so much for reading today's blog. I really need YOUR help!
Meteorologist Steve Glazier and I are conducting a scientific survey, and we are looking for input from everyone and anyone who utilizes weather forecasts! We have crafted a short survey to evaluate how people interpret and utilize the weather forecasts. The survey will then be analyzed (by us) in hopes of drawing some conclusions of how to better communicate the forecast details, and help you be better prepared for inclement weather in the near or long term forecast.
The survey has already been handed out to several people local to Vermont, northern NY, and interior New Hampshire (basically, within our viewing area). It only takes about 10 minutes (by hand) and most importantly, there are no "right" or "wrong" answers.
Please consider helping Steve and I with our survey. We hope to have a large sample size of completed surveys by the end of the month.
Please email me kjeromin@fox44now.com with the email subject WEATHER SURVEY to receive the survey. It will require either electronic response or a snail mail send back.
Thank you in advance for your help in conducting this survey. Please pass along to all and anyone who may be interested in participating.
All research participants will remain anonymous. No compensation for completion of survey. Preliminary data may be presented to various groups of professionals and students within the field of meteorology/atmospheric sciences.
