Peru, New York - Kelly Donah recalls the day she lost her daughter in a tragic car accident in November.
"Every day is different; every hour is different," says Kelly.
The crash took the life of four teenagers—17- year olds Brandon Rennert and Samantha Donah and two foreign exchange students—17- year old Dat Ong and 18- year old Chu Xiong.
"They were all very special kids," says Kelly.
Brandon and Samantha were driving at night when they struck Ong and Xiong.
State Police now say, after months of in depth analysis, that the two foreign exchange students were walking in the road at the time of impact.
Police say the car then over-turned, went down an embankment and burst into flames.
"All four victims sustained massive injuries that caused immediate death," says a spokesperson for the State Police.
Kelly says she spoke to her daughter just three hours before she received the unimaginable news.
"The detective knocked on my door to ask me some questions and then returned 45 minutes later to tell me there had been an accident," says Kelly.
Samantha was taking classes at CV Tech to become a nurse.
"I can't stress enough how much she always put other people needs, wants, feelings before her own," says Kelly.
While she says life will never be the same again, she tries to remember her daughter every way she can.
"A sight, a smell, a sound always reminds me of her," says Kelly.
